“After a 12 year break from competing I decided to take the stage again at the 2009 NPC West Texas Classic. The competition was extremely well run from the competitors meeting to the night show. The accommodations were perfect for a bodybuilding competition. Backstage was run smoothly with plenty of knowledgeable staff to make sure all of the competitors were prepared and given plenty of notice when they would be on stage. Each competitor was treated with individual respect as competitive athlete. With as much stress as we competitors go through to prepare for a show, it was nice to have the show itself be as stress free as possible. Thanks to Andrew Zamora and all of his crew.”

My experience competing at the West Texas Classic was one of the best weekends of  my entire life.  Not only was I surrounded by other people that were serious about bodybuilding like myself, but the caring people, and judges made sure eveybody knew what to do. They went through the posing, the order that we lineup, how we come out, didnt leave anything un-answered. Not to mention Andrew and Kathleen made sure to have an amazing desert table set up for the competitors after they came of stage. The weekend was far from boring, as they also brought in IFBB pro Branch Warren to guest pose. The West Texas Classic was about as organized and put together as you can ask for, not to mention a fun weekend experience.
